The Role

The Project Lead will be working with the I&S Team Manager and should be able to independently handle the assigned projects, ensuring time bound effective solutions. BE, B.Tech

ROLES AND RES PONSIBILITIES

As part of the R&D I&S team, the individual should be able to perform following duties :

● Ownership to execute the assigned project, overseeing & managing cross functional interdependencies.

● Understand the project at a system level & work with the HW/Mech & Software engineers to execute the project.

● Manage & Carry out engineering design change activities by working in close coordination with engineers & cross functional teams of QA, RA, certification agencies Production & Service.

● Keep a watch on components obsolescence & provide timely solutions to prevent production stop situations.

● Collaborate with Production & engineering to investigate product failures & provide solutions for the same.

● Timeline planning considering risks & critical path to ensure no production stop.

● Owning the Technology know-how transfer from released projects.

● Continuous Improvement of Released products w.r.t updated Regulatory Standards.

● Maintain a database of Engineering Design reports & be familiar with critical functions.

● Support Production Technologist with Production transfer from one site to another.

● Support Regulatory department with Country Registrations.

● Support Quality and Regulatory audits as needed.

ESS ENTIAL QUALIFICAT ION AND EXPERIENCE

● Q U A L I F I C A T I O N :

o Engineering degree or above in Electrical/Electronics.

● T E C H N I C A L C O M P E T E N C Y :

o 7+ years in Embedded Device Product development in the capacity of designer or Tech lead, with Minimum 1+ years of technical/ Project management experience.

o Hands On Expertise in Hardware design with good exposure to other domains (mechanical and software) high level design, development & verification principles.

o Exposure to product safety testing & certification (Ex: CB Certification of medical devices).

o Exposure to value engineering of products w.r.t cost & technology.

o Able to work independently & Experience working with cross functional teams (Engineering, Certification agencies, QA/RA, Production, Sourcing, Suppliers)

o Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Self-motivated and passion to finish (fire in belly).

o Flexible, hands-on and willing to learn new technologies.

o Exposure to Medical devices product development will be an added advantage.

o Exposure to Medical devices standards/regulations, Design controls or similar regulatory environment and QMS will be an added advantage.
